Solution:

The house is organized as a sequence of domestic and creative spaces connected vertically. The ground floor is conceived as a large double-height space combining garage, performance and rehearsal areas, crossed by walkways that allow the scene to be observed from different viewpoints. Above it sits the painting studio, and on the upper levels the dwelling, articulated through fluid spaces, double heights and terraces opening onto the street and the interior courtyard.

The scale of the brief is balanced through a restrained material strategy based on traditional materials and raw finishes. The existing party walls are partially left untreated, incorporating their marks and irregularities as an almost pictorial texture that contrasts with the concrete and materials of the new construction. This logic also extends to the façade, finished in trencadís, reinterpreting a traditional technique through a contemporary language.
