Context:
The project starts from the intention to create a high-performance home, both in the scale of its brief and the quality of its spaces and finishes. The interior is conceived around comfort, natural light and spatiality, incorporating double heights and visual relationships that favor continuity between the different rooms. In the private areas, the bedrooms are designed as self-contained spaces with en-suite bathrooms and generous surface areas that reinforce comfort and privacy.
Solution:
The house is organized across several levels and half-levels that enrich the sequence of movement and enhance spatial fluidity from the lower floors up to the roof. Double heights, visual connections and transitional spaces articulate the different areas, while large openings, lattices and solar shading regulate the entry of light, views and privacy, reinforcing the permeability between interior and exterior.
The brief is completed with a basement, spa, elevator, wine cellar, dining room, garage and a retractable covered pool. Materiality takes center stage through marble, onyx, glazed ceramics and surfaces of different textures, giving the spaces identity and depth.
The house also incorporates energy-efficiency and savings criteria, with a high-performance envelope, particular attention to insulation and passive solar-control strategies. Domestic hot water is produced via air-source heat pump and supplemented with a 10 kW photovoltaic installation, reducing demand and conventional energy consumption.
