VILLENA AUXILIARY FIRE STATION

Typology:

New auxiliary fire station

Area:

1.355 m²

Location:

Villena, Alicante, Spain

Status:

Completed (2025)

Budget:

€1,638,026 PEM (Material Execution Budget)

Context:

A project developed jointly with architect Azaila Jordá Giménez, commissioned by the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante (Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Alicante) to provide Villena with an auxiliary station capable of meeting the operational needs of the emergency service. The project is situated on a large plot, designed to integrate both the main building and the outdoor infrastructure necessary for the station’s operations.

Solution:

The building is organized on a single floor with two clearly defined areas: a hangar for emergency intervention vehicles and a staff service block incorporating rest areas, training facilities, administrative offices, locker rooms, a gym, and utility spaces. Three interior courtyards provide natural light and ventilation to the various rooms, enhancing overall comfort and energy efficiency.

The project is completed with extensive exterior site development featuring a maneuvering platform, technical areas, a helipad, perimeter fencing, and auxiliary installations, forming a functional and secure infrastructure prepared to ensure a swift response during emergency operations.
