Context:
Refurbishment and extension of a 1970s holiday home, converting it into a contemporary villa with a high level of comfort while preserving the character of traditional Alicante country houses.
Solution:
The project reorganizes and extends the house to adapt it for permanent residential use, incorporating more functional spaces and all the amenities of a modern home. The intervention is completed with a thorough energy upgrade through reinforced insulation, renewed window and door joinery, and the installation of air-source heat pump and photovoltaic systems. The whole is set within a garden combining traditional citrus trees, Mediterranean vegetation and a pool, resulting in an efficient, comfortable home fully connected to its surroundings.
