New construction of a tourist apartment building located in Alicante’s Historic Center, within a consolidated urban setting shaped by the traditional layout of the old town.
Solution:
The project proposes a tourist apartment building, versatile and adaptable to a minimal apartment typology, integrated into the surrounding historic urban fabric. The units are organized to make the most of the façade, improving habitability, natural light and views. The addition of interior ventilation shafts also promotes cross-ventilation in the apartments despite the building having no courtyards.
